January 12th – Covid Safety Update

The Deacons recommend that Cornerstone worship in community and in person this Sunday, January 16th. At this time the weather forecast looks dry although quite cold on Sunday morning. Those of our members and attenders who recently tested positive for COVID-19 will have completed their isolation periods and, we pray, will have recovered and be feeling well.

We ask that if others test positive or have known close contacts to follow the CDC and Department of Public Health guidelines attached and that they notify the Deacons as we regularly assess the safety of our worship service plans to protect the health of our congregation.

We will continue the distanced group seating as well as asking all in attendance to be masked while inside the church.

Each week we will reassess recommendations to worship in person or by Zoom and will try our best to notify the church body 24 hours in advance if we feel the need to worship remotely. You may assume worship will be in person unless you hear otherwise. Decisions will be made based both on health and weather conditions.

Please reference the attached CDC Guidelines on Isolation and Quarantine and feel free to reach out to one of the Deacons with any questions.

Blessings,
Your Deacons
